I wan­ted to break down alter­na­te his­to­ri­cal data on the Aztec, start­ing with their ori­g­ins. Who the­se peo­p­le were is a bit of a mys­tery. This is part one of a four-part series that will del­ve into mytho­lo­gy and oral tra­di­ti­ons in an attempt to get to the truth of the last gre­at Meso­ame­ri­can civi­liza­ti­on of the pre-His­pa­nic Ame­ri­cas. We will also show the con­nec­tions bet­ween the Aztec and pre­sent-day Utah.

Aut­hor, rese­ar­cher, and boots-on-the-ground inves­ti­ga­tor, James Keen­an, is a nati­ve of Los Ange­les, Cali­for­nia — Hol­ly­wood, if you want to be exact. Befo­re having the oppor­tu­ni­ty to call hims­elf an aut­hor, James work­ed in law enforce­ment and pri­va­te inves­ti­ga­ti­ons for over twen­ty years. This included the sub-fields of city poli­cing, inves­ti­ga­ti­ons for the Dis­trict Attorney’s Office of the best coun­ty in all of Cali­for­nia, retail loss pre­ven­ti­on, and ending with insu­rance fraud inves­ti­ga­ti­ons for seve­ral dull insu­rance com­pa­nies. The com­pa­nies were okay, but the peo­p­le and fri­end­ships made were gre­at — some con­ti­nuing even to this day.
